Ron on YouTube I found this link to a concert that I did back in 1996 on tour with the late and GREAT Lester Bowie and Brass Fantasy. I must thank hornist Vincent Chancey for this wonderful find. That is Vincent blowing a mean solo on Sade's "Smooth Operator". I believe that it was the Umbria Jazz Festival in Italy. DIGITAL PERFORMER DEMONSTRATION AT THE APPLE STORE! Ron demonstrated how he uses Digital Performer to score to picture to a full house. He explained his approach to attacking a film scoring project from beginning to end. This included spotting the cues, creating the cues, recording the cues then delivering the cues to the editor. He showed how he collaborates across the Atlantic Ocean with his guitar player, Jeff Hoffman, who lives in Paris. A special guest horn player, Bob McClure, dropped in to play a few live french horn parts in front of the Apple crowd. |
